Baraja: "tHE TEAM kePT going AND COMPETED UNTIL THE END"
The Valencia CF coach talks after the 2-2 result against Deportivo Alavés
Attending a game at Mestalla is something unique, and the sound at the stadium is clearer than ever with the addition of DAS Audio sound systems.
In an attempt to improve the entertainment experience and offer better opportunities to club sponsors, Valencia CF have made a large investment in improving the loudspeaker system at the ground.
After an exhaustive study carried out by Valencia CF engineers, and an examination of the needs and demands of LaLiga, the club decided to install two DAS Audio line array systems either side of the main video scoreboard.
Alongside over 50 speakers distributed around the stadium, this allows for a more uniform and intelligible transmission of music and sound effects, in a system more frequently used in musical shows than a sports venue.
Inaugurated in 1923, Mestalla is the oldest stadium in LaLiga. That created a challenge for the installation of a cutting edge sound system on a par with the most modern grounds. The DAS Audio setup was used for the first time in Wednesday's Champions League game against Ajax.
